We are seeking a motivated volunteer to serve as our Coordinator–Publicist for Traditional Media. This role is ideal for college students or recent graduates who are passionate about DIY music-making, cultural exchange, and creative community-building across borders.

The Coordinator–Publicist helps share the stories of our artists and programs with newspapers, magazines, radio, and television outlets. Working with our leadership and communications team, the volunteer will draft short press releases, pitch story ideas, and help build relationships with journalists who cover arts, culture, and community life. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience in nonprofit communications while supporting an organization dedicated to grassroots creativity and global connection.

We are recruiting for two three-month volunteer terms: March–May 2026 and August–October 2026. The time commitment is approximately 3–5 hours per week, and the position can be completed remotely or in a hybrid format.

This role is especially suited for students interested in arts administration, media, communications, journalism, or social impact careers. Volunteers will gain professional experience, mentorship, and portfolio-ready work while helping amplify the voices of artists working in a global DIY music community.

If you care about music, storytelling, and cultural exchange, we invite you to apply and be part of our mission.
