The 2018 Génies des Arts classical music competition in Kinshasa, Congo, is complete. The enormously talented Jemima Mukuna (soprano), Julie Tshibola (soprano) and Junior Yakusu (bass) won the top three places. The competition jury members were music professors at the Institut National des Arts.
Operanauts was proud to have sponsored the prize money and a reception for the final concert.
Founder and Competition Director, Julien Moke states: “The contest is open to all students, that is to say, [students] of art music – art song and instrumental repertoire.”
