Save the Date! This year, Operanauts joins the #GivingTuesday movement to connect with our local community at Ten Thousand Villages, in the Princeton Shopping Center in New Jersey. On November 29th from 4 – 8 PM, Operanauts volunteers will provide refreshments for guests to enjoy while they shop; and, the store will donate 15% of purchases to Operanauts work.
Ten Thousand Villages creates opportunities for artisans in developing countries to earn income by bringing their products and stories to our markets through long-term, fair trading relationships.
Operanauts connects with this value, and makes a point to provides artisans, especially fabric-makers and seamstresses in Kinshasa, Congo with opportunity in the creation of our opera production costumes.
