Thank you for coming and celebrating Operanauts’ milestone with a Coffee Tasting at Starbucks! And, thank you to Ivett Heffentrager, store manager and her assistant, Natanael for choosing such delicious coffee and dessert pairings for us to taste, and creating such a wonderful event at Starbucks on Nassau Street.
And, a special thanks to the eleven choristers from the Princeton High School Choir for singing carols to us! You sang so beautifully and warmed our hearts with your harmonies. Thank you for ushering in the holiday spirit of giving for Operanauts.
The results are in – with Starbucks’ generous 30% discount, donated coffee and gift baskets, a raffle, and your ticket contribution & donations – we received $300 (after costs)! Thank you for contributing to help young musicians and choristers in Congo get the music score they need to learn, and provide resources for teaching artists to hone their craft.
This holiday, we can send the full orchestral & choral parts for “Joy to the World” and the “Street Boys Chorus” from La Petite Carmen to the music director of the “Juniors” of the OSK (l’ Orchestre symphonique Kimbanguiste).
